Since Ike works in the mornings, the morning feeding is my responsibility and I love it! It really is one of the highlights of my day even on a frigid morning like this one!
First, the sheep and goat get their breakfast.
Next, I scurry into the hay loft to retrieve everyone’s hay. The sheep’s hay goes in the stall while the horses’ hay goes on the 4-wheeler.
Next, the chickens get their food, their water changed, and I gather the eggs.
Kirby is the next one to get breakfast.
Finally, Dusty and (still unnamed!) little horse get their breakfast and their morning grooming.
Of course, this entire time, I am being assisted by Kyleigh, Keiko, and the occasional cat.
There is never a boring morning at our house!

That is absolutely the best! It always makes me feel so darn loved! Then I realize that they are probably way more happy to see the food than me! haha!
